Calligraphy as an Embodied Art

Calligraphy has been an integral part of Yoshimi’s life. She mastered the technique of fifth dan while still in her teens and has continued to develop her relationship with brush, ink, breath, and movement throughout her life.

Her approach to calligraphy extends beyond creating beautiful characters. Each stroke becomes an opportunity to cultivate attention, calm presence, balance, and connection between body and mind.

No previous experience is required. Classes are designed to welcome both beginners and experienced practitioners.
